Joseph Pilates release the book Return to Life Through Contrology in 1945.
The Contrology movements and principles and the basis of the Pilates method today. The book contained 34 mat-based exercises many of which are still used today.

Within the workshop, we will explore the original exercises with appropriate modifications options.
We will aim to perfect the moves at the right level for each individual. We will learn to perform the exercises while incorporating the 6 key Pilates principles.

What will we do –
We will warm-up prior to working through each exercise individually. We will finish the day by running through the 34 exercises from beginning to end.
What will you get from the session –
A challenging Pilates sequence that was designed to ensure that all areas of the body are targeted in every position, first by use of gravity and body weight and then against it.
